Family owned since 1983
Melton's roots go back to founder JW "Dub" Melton — a former military jet mechanic whose sons say "he could fix anything from a toaster to a furnace to a jet." Dub started in heating and cooling in 1966, and after 17 years he brought his son Randy into a business venture that became Melton's Heating & Air Conditioning.
Brother Greg joined as business manager, and today Randy and Greg still own and run the company. Most of Melton's work comes the way Randy likes it best — by word of mouth — from families who've trusted us for decades and now send their kids and neighbors our way.
We've concentrated on Trane products for their reliability while keeping the skill to service any brand, and we maintain strong ties with local gas, power and electric companies, the Chamber of Commerce and the Homebuilders Association.
